How to find your ring size at home

In Russia, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries, ring size equals the inner diameter in millimeters, for example 17 or 17.5. You can find it in two ways.
Method 1: from a ring that already fits
Place the ring on a ruler and measure its inner diameter: from one inner edge to the opposite one. That number is the size.
Method 2: from your finger
- Wrap a thread or a strip of paper around your finger at its widest point and mark where it overlaps.
- Measure the length with a ruler: this is the finger's circumference in millimeters.
- Divide the circumference by 3.14: you get the diameter, which is the size.
What to keep in mind
Measure your finger in the evening and at room temperature. If the ring is wide, choose half a size larger. When in doubt, it is better to try the ring on in the store.
